As No Surrender draws near, an all-new IMPACT! takes over the airwaves this Thursday at 8/7c on AXS TV and 8:30pm ET on YouTube for IMPACT Insiders.
Just eight nights before Rich Swann challenges Josh Alexander for the IMPACT World Title at No Surrender, he will step into the ring with Kenny King. The brash and cocky King interrupted an interview with Alexander and claimed that the “Walking Weapon” was playing favorites with who has been receiving World Title shots. Of course, we know that to be false as Swann won the Golden Six Shooter to become #1 Contender, which was comprised of all former IMPACT World Champions. Now King must put his money where his mouth is as he battles Swann in singles action this Thursday!
At No Surrender, four of IMPACT’s best will collide in a #1 Contenders match to determine who is next in line for an IMPACT World Title opportunity. Last week, Brian Myers and PCO won their respective qualifying matchups over Dirty Dango and Shera. This Thursday, the field will be set when Eddie Edwards battles Heath and Steve Maclin takes on Rhino in the final two qualifiers. Who will punch their ticket to Las Vegas?
At No Surrender, KENTA will lead Bullet Club into battle against Time Machine in a blockbuster six-man tag team match. But first, momentum will be up for grabs as Chris Bey goes one-on-one with KUSHIDA this Thursday. Following a verbal altercation last week where Ace Austin and Chris Bey set their sights on capturing the IMPACT World Tag Team Titles from the Motor City Machine Guns, tensions are higher than ever between the two warring stables. Will it be Chris Bey or KUSHIDA who scores the all-important victory on IMPACT?
Last week, Masha Slamovich asserted her dominance over Mickie James when she blindsided the Knockouts World Champion following a setup from Bully Ray. With their Knockouts World Title dream match set for No Surrender, the situation continues to escalate. This Thursday, Slamovich takes to the ring to battle Alisha, who will be fighting an uphill battle against the dangerous #1 Contender.
