TNA iMPACT! on AXS TV Preview: February 1, 2024

Join IMPACT Insiders to stream iMPACT! on YouTube

This Thursday at 8/7c on AXS TV and 8:30pm ET on YouTube for IMPACT Insiders, the action heads to Orlando as the road to No Surrender begins!

Following Chris Bey’s singles victory over Kevin Knight last week, ABC were assaulted by the Grizzled Young Vets who staked their claim to the TNA World Tag Team Championships. Later in the night, ABC were out for revenge, leading to a blockbuster announcement from Director of Authority Santino Marella: Starting this Thursday, ABC will battle the Grizzled Young Vets in a Best of 3 Series for the TNA World Tag Team Championships! Who will strike first when Match 1 goes down on IMPACT?

Last week, Nic Nemeth made his triumphant TNA in-ring debut with a victory over Zachary Wentz. But after the match, fellow Rascal Trey Miguel tried to get a cheap shot on the “Wanted Man”, but was unsuccessful. Not only that, but Nemeth was also able to fend off an attack from Steve Maclin, who has been obsessed with exercising Nemeth from TNA since his arrival at Hard To Kill. This Thursday, Nemeth looks to continue his massive wave of momentum as he goes one-on-one with Trey Miguel.

The former longest-reigning TNA World Champion of all time, Josh Alexander, is on a roll after defeating Will Ospreay in a phenomenal rematch just two weeks ago. But when Alexander was about to reveal what’s next, he was interrupted by the brash Alan Angels, who invited him to be the guest on the first episode of his new talk show, Sound Check. What does Angels have in store for the “Walking Weapon”? Tune in to find out.

At Hard To Kill, Moose, Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards solidified their allegiance and as a result, The System was born. With Moose leading the charge as the new TNA World Champion, the veteran Brian Myers is looking for success in singles competition this Thursday. Opposing him will be rising star Kevin Knight, who has the opportunity to catch lightning in a bottle with his breathtaking aerial offense.

After being dethroned as the Knockouts World Tag Team Champions at Hard To Kill, MK Ultra got back to their winning ways when they defeated Dani Luna and Jody Threat last week. Following the conclusion of the match, MK Ultra asserted their dominance with an extra Piledriver to Dani Luna. This Thursday, Jody Threat looks to fight back as she goes one-on-one with Masha Slamovich.

Speaking of the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles, the newly-crowned champions of Havok and Rosemary cast a shadow over the entire division when they made their shocking return at Hard To Kill. Decay has been resurrected and the demons have been unleashed. This Thursday, what chaos and destruction will unfold when Decay takes to the ring for tag team action?

Two weeks ago, the iMPACT! Zone looked on in disbelief when Frankie Kazarian viciously assaulted his tag team partner, Eric Young. The TNA Originals had just lost to the Grizzled Young Vets, their second defeat in less than one week after also falling to The System at Hard To Kill. This Thursday, the world will get some answers as Frankie Kazarian explains his shocking actions.

Rich Swann vs Steve Maclin

The first match of the new era is a battle of former World Champions! Swann is on a roll but Maclin shuts down his momentum with a mid-air forearm shot. Maclin hits a backbreaker for two. Maclin hits a modified cutter out of the corner for another near fall. Swann fights back with the 450 Splash for a near fall of his own. Maclin regains control with the Jarhead-butt. Swann is Caught in the Crosshairs, followed by the KIA from Maclin to win.

Former NFL Running Back D’Angelo Williams joins Moose, Eddie Edwards and Alisha Edwards, now known as The System, for an interview with Gia Miller.

DJ Whoo Kid & AJ Francis Debut the Music Video for “We Out$ide”

DJ Whoo Kid and AJ Francis are debuting the music video for their new single “We Out$ide” when Joe Hendry interrupts. Hendry debuts his own music video, poking fun at AJ Francis and referring to him as the Cheez It Champion. DJ Whoo Kid blindsides Hendry, allowing Francis to lay him out with a massive Chokeslam.

The System (Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers) w/ Alisha Edwards vs TNA Originals (Eric Young & Frankie Kazarian)

Kazarian takes out Edwards with a slingshot Hurricanrana to the outside. Kazarian brings the fight to Myers and hits a springboard leg drop. Kazarian connects with a Backstabber on Edwards, then launches Myers into the slingshot cutter. Edwards hits Kazarian with the Backpack Stunner, followed by a top rope elbow drop from Myers. Kazarian hits the Unprettier on Myers. Young soars with his own top rope elbow drop for two. Myers connects with the Roster Cut on Kazarian, then puts him away with the Boston Knee Party. Myers scores the pinfall on Kazarian to win.

Steve cranks the neck of Dreamer, then introduces his signature fork into the match. Dreamer hits the Bionic Elbow to prevent him from using the fork. Steve traps Dreamer’s head inside of a steel chair and hits a cutter. Steve swings and misses with a kendo stick, allowing Dreamer to hit a cutter of his own. TNA Hard To Kill 2024 Full Preview

Order PPV
Get Tickets

THIS SATURDAY, January 13th at 8pm ET, TNA Wrestling is back as the Hard To Kill pay-per-view event emanates LIVE from the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. For the first time ever, Hard To Kill will be available on TNA+ as part of the World Champion Annual subscription, or as a standalone purchase. Limited tickets are available at Ticketmaster.com. Don’t miss a moment of the action as the new era begins!

TNA Wrestling’s 1000th episode celebration saw the return of one of the most infamous match types in company history, Feast or Fired. It was here that Moose secured one of the three briefcases that contained a championship opportunity – a shot at the TNA World Title to be exact. After revealing that he would be challenging the TNA World Champion when TNA Wrestling makes its return at Hard To Kill, fans were wondering who would walk into the event as the title-holder. Current reigning champ Alex Shelley has since cemented himself as the face of TNA Wrestling, following hard-fought victories over Josh Alexander and Jonathan Gresham. Now Moose will challenge Shelley for the brand-new TNA World Championship as the two look to lead the charge into the new era.

At Bound For Glory, Jordynne Grace outlasted 19 other competitors to win the Call Your Shot Gauntlet and earn a championship opportunity of her choosing, anyplace, anytime. Moments later, Grace revealed that she would be “calling her shot” for a TNA Knockouts World Title opportunity when TNA Wrestling returns at Hard To Kill LIVE January 13th on pay-per-view. Trinity has been on a roll as reigning TNA Knockouts World Champion and the two top Knockouts are set to clash for the first time ever. Who will stand at the top of the Knockouts division when the new era begins at Hard To Kill?

Another blockbuster matchup has been made official for the return of TNA Wrestling at Hard To Kill. Following an exchange on social media, a former World Champion in Alex Hammerstone will make his long-awaited TNA debut. But stepping up to Hammerstone will be the former longest-reigning TNA World Champion of all time, Josh Alexander. Hammerstone laid out an open challenge on X, which was later answered by the “Walking Weapon”, leading to this epic first-time-ever showdown. A new era begins on January 13th and two of the very best are set to collide.

Chris Sabin will be one of the TNA originals leading the charge into the new era, and that means putting his TNA X-Division Title on the line at Hard To Kill. Sabin must defend against two formidable challengers in KUSHIDA and the returning El Hijo del Vikingo. Sabin and KUSHIDA have been longtime allies as part of the fan-favorite trio, Time Machine, but there can be no friends when you’re talking about the TNA X-Division Championship. Meanwhile, Vikingo soars onto the scene for the first time since 2020 and will unload his arsenal of aerial offense in an attempt to win TNA gold for the very first time. Buckle up and don’t blink when Sabin, KUSHIDA and Vikingo clash on January 13th in Vegas.

At Bound For Glory, ABC reclaimed their spot at the top of the division when they became the TNA World Tag Team Champions once again. But as revealed by Director of Authority Santino Marella, ABC must defend the TNA World Tag Team Titles against not one, not two, but three formidable duos at Hard To Kill: the Rascalz, the newly-formed Trent Seven and Mike Bailey, and the debuting Grizzled Young Vets. With so much talent packed into one match, there’s no telling who will leave Las Vegas with the gold around their waists!

A match type synonymous with TNA Wrestling, Ultimate X, will make its highly-anticipated return at Hard To Kill. But for only the second time in history, the Knockouts will compete in the high-risk, high-wire spectacle. Who will risk it all for a coveted TNA Knockouts World Title opportunity at any time of their choosing? The stage has been set after Gisele Shaw, Xia Brookside, Jody Threat, Tasha Steelz, Alisha Edwards and Dani Luna were revealed as the combatants.

At TNA Hard To Kill, PCO will rise once again. Stepping up to the “French-Canadian Frankenstein” will be the brash and arrogant Dirty Dango, who will surely inform the world of his feelings towards the sport of pro wrestling. PCO scored a dominant victory on the final IMPACT-branded event, Final Resolution and one can only imagine just how horrific his actions will be when the new era begins on January 13th.

Worlds will collide at TNA Hard To Kill, you won’t believe who is showing up!

The stars will be out at TNA Hard To Kill. As revealed on social media, DJ Whoo Kid and AJ Francis will debut the music video for “WE OUT$IDE” when the new era begins in Las Vegas.

The new era kicks off with a special 1-hour Countdown to Hard To Kill, streaming LIVE exclusively for TNA+ subscribers. The Countdown features a one-on-one battle of former TNA World Champions, Rich Swann vs Steve Maclin. Also scheduled: TNA Originals Eric Young and Frankie Kazarian team up against Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards, with Alisha Edwards in their corner. Plus, Tommy Dreamer will defend the Digital Media Championship in a No Disqualification match against Crazzy Steve!

TNA Wrestling Partners With PowerTown Wrestling To Produce TNA Action Figures & Accessories

Series One To Debut In Summer 2024!

TNA Wrestling is returning to the action figure market through a long-term contract with PowerTown Wrestling to produce collectible TNA Action Figures & Accessories, it was jointly announced today.

Pre-sale orders for Series One will begin in March 2024 and the figures will be shipped in August 2024. Series Two of the TNA Wrestling Action Figures from PowerTown will be shipped in December 2024. More information on who will be included in each series will be released in the coming weeks.

“We are happy to get into the ring with TNA Wrestling, as we bring two recognizable brands in the wrestling industry together for the first time,” says Steve Rosenthal, co-founder and managing partner of Relativity Worldwide, the parent company of PowerTown. “This partnership will allow us to leverage our expertise in developing high quality action figures and accessories to bring to market a line of products that will be equally exciting for wrestling fans worldwide.”

In less than two years, PowerTown has become a leader in developing and marketing original collectible wrestling action figures legends of the sport from the past six decades. The brand launched last year with its Series 1 Ultra collection, featuring six iconic pro wrestling personalities: Verne Gagne, Lou Thesz, Stan Hansen, Bruiser Brody, Magnum TA, and Kerry Von Erich. Each seven-inch scale ‘Ultra’ figure is highlighted with personalized accessories and ring-wear, along with championship belts. PowerTown Wrestling recently announced its new Ultra Series 2 line-up.

“TNA fans have been asking when the next TNA Action Figures will be released. Finally, we have the answer: 2024 – and we’re very confident that fans worldwide will be thrilled with these new TNA Action Figures from PowerTown Wrestling. PowerTown delivers high-quality collectibles and we are very excited to work with the entire team there,” said TNA Wrestling President Scott D’Amore.

The TNA Wrestling Action Figures from PowerTown will be Ultra figures, like the popular Ultras Series 1 figures from PowerTown, which are sold out. The Ultra figures are 7-inch scale, sculpted for their real-life height in scale with other wrestlers. The figures have 30 modes of articulation; thus, the head rotates and nods, arms rotate and move forward and back, biceps rotate and much more. Other features of Ultra figures include moveable elbows, rotating wrists and torso, and bending ankles.

Rosenthal created the wrestling action figure craze of the 1980s while serving in a senior management role at Remco Toys as part of a licensing partnership with AWA All-Star Wrestling. He re-entered the business in 2022 through a partnership with Gagne and Magnum TA and has since launched a series of impressive action figures featuring legends of the sport’s past.

THIS SATURDAY, December 9th at 8pm ET, IMPACT Wrestling presents the last special event of the year, Final Resolution, streaming LIVE on IMPACT Plus, YouTube for IMPACT Ultimate Insiders and FITE from the Don Kolov Arena in Toronto, Canada. Tickets are SOLD OUT.

As the clock ticks down on 2023, one of the biggest stars in all of professional wrestling, Zack Sabre Jr, is set to make his IMPACT debut at Final Resolution. The event will play host to a blockbuster tag team main event as ZSJ teams with Josh Alexander to battle the Motor City Machine Guns, comprised of IMPACT World Champion Alex Shelley and X-Division Champion Chris Sabin. ZSJ is the current reigning NJPW World TV Champion and looks to make history as he competes against Shelley and Sabin, and alongside Alexander, for the first time ever.

Before Jordynne Grace “calls her shot” for a Knockouts World Title match at Hard To Kill, she will look to make a statement alongside reigning champion Trinity. That’s right, at Final Resolution, Grace and Trinity will join forces as they battle two longtime rivals, Deonna Purrazzo and Gisele Shaw, in a huge tag team bout. The question on the minds of IMPACT fans around the world is, can Grace and Trinity work together with their huge high-stakes showdown quickly approaching at Hard To Kill? Meanwhile, Purrazzo and Shaw will be looking to play spoiler and perhaps put themselves into contention for a future Knockouts World Title opportunity.

After earning an IMPACT/TNA World Title opportunity in Feast or Fired, we now know that Moose will challenge Alex Shelley at Hard To Kill LIVE January 13th on pay-per-view. But before that, Moose must settle his longstanding rivalry with “The War Machine” Rhino as they collide in a hard-hitting showdown at the last IMPACT-branded special event, Final Resolution. Recently on IMPACT!, Moose made a statement when he defeated Heath in singles competition. But when Moose and Brian Myers looked to add insult to injury, Heath’s longtime friend in Rhino would come to his aid, delivering a brutal Gore to Myers. While Moose may have escaped his wrath on that night, all bets are off in Toronto. Can Moose continue to build momentum on the road to Hard To Kill?

At Bound For Glory, ABC valiantly dethroned the Rascalz to recapture the IMPACT World Tag Team Championships. But as the entire roster looks ahead to the return of TNA this January, there can be no rest for the weary. At Final Resolution, ABC will defend their titles against the newly formed team of Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers. Myers has been apart of a duo with Moose for much of 2023, but his quest for the IMPACT World Championship has led to new alliances. Who will enter the new era as IMPACT World Tag Team Champions? We find out in Toronto.

Mike Bailey and Trey Miguel have both had incredible years. “Speedball” is coming off one of the greatest performances of his career, a breathtaking showdown against pro wrestling megastar Will Ospreay at Bound For Glory. Meanwhile, Miguel was IMPACT World Tag Team Champion alongside his fellow Rascal, Zachary Wentz, who made his long-awaited return to IMPACT Wrestling. But as 2023 winds down and the return of TNA approaches, Bailey and Miguel must now face each other to see who will enter the new era with an all-important momentum boost. Who will take their career to the next level? Find out when Bailey battles Miguel Final Resolution.

Recently on IMPACT!, Tommy Dreamer gained a measure of revenge when he attacked the maniacal Crazzy Steve with a fork during their Digital Media Title clash. While Steve won the match by disqualification, Dreamer would remain the Digital Media Champion. Now Dreamer must turn his attention towards Final Resolution, where he will defend against a new challenger, Deaner. Will Dreamer’s rediscovered aggression lead him to victory? Or will Deaner gain some much-needed momentum in favor of The Design and leave with the Digital Media Championship?

Two of IMPACT Wrestling’s fastest rising stars in Jake Something and Jason Hotch will face off in singles competition at Final Resolution. Something has been eager to make a name for himself since returning earlier this year, and he has done just that with impressive performances against some of the biggest names in the sport, including IWGP World Heavyweight Champion SANADA. Meanwhile, Hotch has shown promise alongside his Good Hands tag team partner, John Skyler, but an opportunity to shine on his own just may be what he needs to take his career to the next level.

Before the last special event of the IMPACT era, the action begins LIVE & FREE on Countdown to Final Resolution, streaming December 9th at 7:30pm ET on YouTube, IMPACT Plus (live player) and FITE. IMPACT/TNA veteran Frankie Kazarian will go on-on-one with the surging Sheldon Jean. Or will Deaner gain some much-needed momentum in favor of The Design and leave with the Digital Media Championship?

On December 9th, IMPACT Wrestling presents the last special event of the year, Final Resolution, streaming LIVE on IMPACT Plus, YouTube for IMPACT Ultimate Insiders and FITE from the Don Kolov Arena in Toronto, Canada. Tickets are on-sale now at Revelree.ca.
