That question will be answered when Knockouts World Tag Team Champion Deonna Purrazzo squares off with the undefeated Masha Slamovich this Thursday. Following Jordynne’s successful title defense over Mia Yim at Emergence, she was confronted by the unstoppable Slamovich who made her title aspirations crystal clear. One week later, another contender emerged when the former multi-time Knockouts World Champion Purrazzo pinned Grace in a Knockouts World Tag Team Title match. IMPACT Wrestling’s Joe Doering Steps Away From Active Competition
IMPACT Wrestling star Joe Doering is stepping away from competition to take care of his health. The 40-year-old battled brain cancer six years ago and, at last weekend’s taping at The Factory in Dallas, he informed IMPACT Wrestling management that the disease has returned.
Joe will be undergoing surgery in the coming weeks.
He said: “They told me in 2016 that I would never wrestle again, and I proved them wrong. Guess I’m going to have to do it again. I try to not get too sad or emotional about it. Staying positive really helped me the first time, and that’s what I’ll do again.”
After successful treatment including surgery, chemotherapy and radiation in 2016, the 6-foot, 5-inch wrestler was back in the ring within a year. Although that recovery was remarkable, Joe was informed by his doctors the disease could return and that he should remain vigilant.
The two-time IMPACT Wrestling World Tag Team Champion added: “Please keep me in your thoughts and spirits. I hope to get back in the ring again very soon. To the IMPACT Wrestling locker room: you are family to me and I look forward to seeing you again very, very soon.”
Scott D’Amore, IMPACT Wrestling Executive Vice President, said: “I know our fans and the wider wrestling community will join everyone at IMPACT in keeping Joe and his wife Lindsay in their thoughts and prayers. Joe loves pro wrestling and we all look forward to him returning to action when he’s ready.”

VXT defend their newly-won Knockouts World Tag Team Titles against the formidable duo of Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace and Mia Yim. Purrazzo takes Grace out at the knees, allowing Green to gain the advantage with a DDT. Grace fights back into her corner where she makes the tag to Yim. VXT takes control as they cut off the ring and employ quick tags. Yim avoids an incoming spear, sending Purrazzo crashing into the steel ring post. Yim makes the tag to Grace who hits a big spinebuster on Purrazzo. Grace takes out Purrazzo with a dive but Green cuts off Yim in mid-air with a forearm shot. VXT connect with the Due Collector on Grace as Purrazzo pins her to retain the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles!

If Anderson wins, Maria Kanellis will be banned from ringside for that match. Anderson is in control as he clotheslines Bennett over the top rope to the floor. Bennett bounces back with a clothesline on the outside. Back in the ring, Anderson hits a running dropkick but Bennett takes him out with a superkick. Anderson connects with his signature spinebuster for two. Kanellis distracts the referee, allowing Taven to get involved from the outside. Doc Gallows evens the odds for Anderson, who hits the Gun Stun on Bennett for three!

Digital Media Champion Brian Myers joins Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt on commentary as Bhupinder Gujjar battles Gut Check winner Jason Hotch. Gujjar attempts a powerslam but Hotch fights it off with an eye rake. Gujjar quickly turns the tide with a spinebuster. Gujjar hits the Gargoyle Spear to score the victory!

Before Josh Alexander defends the IMPACT World Title against Honor No More leader Eddie Edwards at Bound For Glory, he steps into the ring with Vincent here tonight. Vincent hits a side Russian leg sweep, followed by Red Rum for an early two count. Alexander avoids a running knee strike in the corner, then brings the fight to Vincent with a series of clotheslines. Alexander locks in the Ankle Lock but Vincent makes it to the ropes. Alexander connects with the Falcon Arrow, followed by the C4 Spike to win!

After the match, Eddie Edwards appears at the top of the ramp. He has chosen his side in the war against the professional wrestling industry, which tries to wear down great warriors like them until they become mindless grunts. Edwards asks Alexander which side he is going to choose and says that they can stand together in this war. Edwards steps into the ring where he gets blindsided with a Wake Up Call from Heath!
Raj Singh and Shera send a warning message to the IMPACT locker room. Meanwhile, Moose and Steve Maclin are attacked by Sami Callihan while having an argument. Moose and Maclin quickly gain the advantage and assault Callihan outside the arena with barbed wire.

Shelley targets the left arm of Deaner, before Sabin takes him out with a running kick. Sabin dives through the ropes, colliding with Doering on the floor. KUSHIDA soars with a flying knee off the apron. Young spikes Sabin with a modified driver but KUSHIDA and Shelley break the count. Young hits a top rope elbow drop on Sabin. Another chapter in the epic rivalry between Violent By Design and Time Machine will be written in a colossal six-man tag team match this Thursday. Eric Young and Deaner fired the last shot when they defeated the team of Chris Sabin and KUSHIDA at Emergence. But the stakes have been raised as Joe Doering and Alex Shelley are added into the mix. Will Young execute his plan to eliminate KUSHIDA and the Motor City Machine Guns once and for all?
Deonna Purrazzo and Chelsea Green, now known as VXT, are set to make their first Knockouts World Tag Team Title defense since winning the gold at Emergence. Standing across the ring from them will be the formidable duo of reigning Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace and Mia Yim, who recently competed against one another in an instant classic. But with Masha Slamovich at the doorstep of the Knockouts World Champion, can Grace focus on the task at hand and become a dual champion?
At the conclusion of last week’s 6 Way #1 Contenders Elimination match, we learned that Eddie Edwards will challenge Josh Alexander for the IMPACT World Title at the biggest pay-per-view of the year, Bound For Glory. But where there’s one member of Honor No More, the others are sure to follow. As Alexander prepares for perhaps the most important match in his professional wrestling career, he must first do battle against Vincent this Thursday. Will Alexander gain momentum heading into Albany or will Vincent play spoiler in the name of Honor No More?
The age of Honor No More continued at Emergence when they defeated the Bullet Club in a high-stakes showdown, not only allowing them to remain a group in IMPACT Wrestling but also granting them their long-awaited IMPACT World Tag Team Title opportunity. While Matt Taven and Mike Bennett wait for Doc Gallows to return to action, his partner Karl Anderson will go one-on-one with Bennett this Thursday. If Anderson wins, Maria Kanellis will be banned from ringside for the upcoming IMPACT World Tag Team Title match.
Upon her return from the Undead Realm, the destructive force formerly known as Havok has been transformed into the bright, fun-loving Jessicka. But since then, the fortunes of her allies Rosemary and Taya Valkyrie have plunged into a downward spiral, resulting in the loss of their Knockouts World Tag Team Titles. This Thursday, Jessicka vows to turn that all around when she makes her in-ring debut on IMPACT.
At Emergence, Bhupinder Gujjar put up the fight of his life when he challenged Brian Myers for the Digital Media Championship. But when the dust had cleared, it was Myers who stood tall after sending Gujjar head-first into the exposed turnbuckle. Last week, Gujjar claimed that he wasn’t finished with Myers and the loss at Emergence only made him angrier. Now Gujjar must step into the ring against IMPACT newcomer Jason Hotch as he looks to get his hands on Myers once again.

Josh Alexander is speaking with Rich Swann backstage. Swann is excited that the Six Way Elimination match gives him a route back to challenging for the World Championship. Alexander would love to face Swann but Vincent walks in. Vincent believes the wind is blowing in a different direction and Honor No More’s Eddie Edwards is destined for the title shot.
Kenny King w/ Vincent vs. Heath
After Heath dropped Kenny King with the Wake Up Call at Emergence, King is out for revenge. Heath strikes once again though, taking Vincent off the apron and connecting with the Wake Up Call once again for the victory.

After the match, Honor No More surrounded Heath. They assaulted Heath from all angles before Eddie Edwards instructed PCO to deliver the final blow. PCO hesitated allowed Heath to drop Mike Bennett with the Wake Up Call and make his escape.
Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley and KUSHIDA are backstage. While Sabin and KUSHIDA lost to Violent By Design at Emergence, the numbers game will be even 3-on-3 next week. Sabin, Shelley and KUSHIDA will now go by the name Time Machine.
Eddie Edwards is backstage with Honor No More. He questioned what just happened with Heath. The OGK then confront Scott D’Amore demanding the Tag Team Title shot they earned at Emergence. Scott informs then that Doc Gallows will be out for a couple of weeks for they’re going to have to wait for their shot a little longer. In the meantime, D’Amore makes Mike Bennett vs. Karl Anderson for next week and if Anderson wins then Maria will be banned from ringside when the OGK get their shot.
Savannah Evans w/ Tasha Steelz vs. Killer Kelly
Killer Kelly locks in the Killer Clutch and submits Evans to make it two straight victories in IMPACT as she stares right in the eyes of an uneasy Tasha Steelz.

Rosemary is backstage with Taya Valkyrie and Jessicka. Rosemary is upset at their loss of the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles. Rosemary plans to regroup but Jessicka thinks she’s ready right now so she’ll have her debut match next week.
Jordynne Grace tells Gia Miller that while she doesn’t always see eye to eye with Mia Yim, she respects her after their physical and competitive Knockouts World Championship match at Emergence. Jordynne welcomes the challenge of Masha Slamovich because she wants to face the best and Masha is currently at the top of that list. VXT interrupt but Jordynne is backed up by Mia Yim. Yim and Grace will challenge VXT for the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles next week.
Chris Bey vs. X-Division Champion Mike Bailey – X-Division Championship
Chris Bey sought to regain the X-Division Title having lost the belt on this day two years ago at Emergence Night 1 in 2020. Following an ultra-competitive contest featuring a number of dazzling displays of athleticism, Bailey picked up the victory with his signature Ultima Weapon manoeuvre.

Brian Myers claims he’s done with Bhupinder Gujjar after Emergence but Gujjar claims Myers has only made him angry.
Next week on IMPACT: VXT defend the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles against Mia Yim and Jordynne Grace, Jessicka makes her in-ring debut, and Violent By Design vs. Time Machine in six-man tag team action.
Eddie Edwards vs. Sami Callihan vs. Steve Maclin vs. Bandido vs. Rich Swann vs. Moose – Number One Contenders Six Man Elimination Match
Steve Maclin rakes Sami Callihan’s eyes allowing Moose to eliminate Callihan with the Lights Out spear. Maclin immediately capitalises to eliminate Moose with a roll up. Callihan pulls Maclin out of the ring and briefly brawls on the floor. Bandido connects with a Fosbury Flop on Maclin and follows with the 21 Plex in the ring to eliminate Maclin. Rich Swann connects with the Phoenix Splash on Bandido but Edwards throws Swann into the post and claims the victory over Bandido for himself. Swann throws everything he has at Edwards but Edwards connects with the Die Hard Driver to become number one contender to Josh Alexander’s IMPACT World Championship.
