TORONTO | LAS VEGAS – IMPACT Wrestling, a subsidiary of Anthem Sports & Entertainment Corp., and NFL Alumni, Las Vegas Chapter (“NFLALV”), are excited to announce a new partnership to advance NFLALV’s ‘Caring for Kids’ and ‘Care for our Own’ initiatives in Las Vegas, Nevada and support IMPACT Wrestling’s events in Las Vegas.
The partnership will include support by IMPACT Wrestling for fundraising initiatives directed to local charities supported by NFLALV, hosting opportunities for NFLALV-supported local charities in connection with Impact Wrestling events in Las Vegas, and participation by IMPACT Wrestling talent in NFLALV events.
To kick off this partnership, IMPACT Wrestling will participate in the Super Weekend Golf Tournament and NFL Players’ Alumni Mix ‘n Mingle Charity Silent Auction being hosted by NFLA Las Vegas on January 31 and February 1.

TORONTO | NEW YORK CITY – IMPACT Wrestling, a subsidiary of Anthem Sports & Entertainment Corp., and Major League Wrestling (MLW), announced today that they will be collaborating for their events on April 4 by coordinating talent and schedules to ensure that fans can attend live events presented by both organizations when virtually the entire professional wrestling world descends upon the New York metropolitan area.
April 4 show details for both organizations are below:
Major League Wrestling
MLW will host “Rise of the Renegades” tapings on April 4 at 7:00 p.m. ET for its weekly television program “Fusion” airing on beIN Sports. Tickets start at $20 and are already on sale at MLWTickets.com. The live event will take place at Melrose Ballroom (36-08 33rd St.) in Long Island City, NY.
IMPACT Wrestling
IMPACT Wrestling presents “United We Stand” on Thursday, April 4 at Rahway Recreation Centre (275 E. Milton Ave.) in Rahway, NJ. The event, in partnership with WrestlePro, begins at 11:00 p.m. ET and streams live on Twitch. Tickets are on sale at www.IMPACTWrestling.com and start at $40. The event will stream live on IMPACT Wrestling’s official Twitch channel – www.twitch.tv/impactwrestling – which also features the flagship weekly show IMPACT!, simulcasting on Pursuit Channel across the U.S. on Fridays at 10:00 p.m. ET.
“This arrangement eliminates talent booking conflicts and ensures that loyal and passionate fans of both IMPACT Wrestling and MLW are able to attend our respective live events on April 4th,” said Ed Nordholm, president of IMPACT Wrestling.
“Both promotions believe in putting the fans first,” said MLW COO Jared St. Laurent. “Fans will be traveling from all over the world in hopes of seeing the best of the best. MLW and IMPACT Wrestling agreed without hesitation that the fans deserved to be able to see both of these amazing events without having to choose one over the other.”
IMPACT Wrestling executive vice-president Scott D’Amore added: “Due to the New York curfew preventing us from starting at 11:00 p.m. ET, we have moved our live event to New Jersey. We want to thank our partners at WrestlePro for facilitating this collaboration on April 4th and also thank House of Glory and stress that we couldn’t make this happen for our great fans without their cooperation. We look forward to working with House of Glory in the near future and will have an announcement coming soon about a future event together.”
The two venues are roughly 30 miles apart and travel time between the two is generally about an hour.

Bowling is, once again, one of the highlights of the VIP Package for the three-day Impact! TV Tapings, which will be held Feb. 15-17 at Sam’s Town.

One of the first matches for the upcoming IMPACT Wrestling shows next month in Las Vegas was confirmed this week – even though none of the wrestlers participating were announced. Former World Champion Eli Drake and reigning Knockouts Champion Taya Valkyrie were in-studio on Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 23, talking with Big D, the popular DJ at 95.5 The Bull – Las Vegas’ new country leader.
Big D boasted that, as a lifelong wrestling fan, he could “manage” any IMPACT Wrestling Star to victory. The claim caught Valkyrie off guard, and she surprised Big D with a fellow Las Vegas celebrity who will “manage” an IMPACT wrestler against Big D and his combatant. Valkyrie brought Chance into the studio. Chance is the Gila monster mascot of the Vegas Golden Knights of the NHL.
Big D put a steak dinner on the line for the winning manager – and both Drake and Valkyrie were quick to want a sizzling steak, with all the side dishes. The match featuring managers Big D and Chance will be held Sunday night, Feb. 17 at Sam’s Town Hotel & Gambling Hall in Las Vegas, starting at 6 p.m.
IMPACT Wrestling holds three consecutive nights of Impact! TV Tapings, Feb. 15-17 at Sam’s Town. Doors open nightly at 5 p.m., and the actions starts at 6 p.m.

In the main event, World Champion Johnny IMPACT makes his way to Canada for a long-awaited clash with Sami Callihan. Though originally scheduled as a non-title bout, Johnny and Sami began sniping at each other on Twitter, and never one to back down, the Survivor star quickly agreed to make it an IMPACT World Championship match:

The IMPACT Wrestling archives are full of unforgettable matches and moments. This week on the Pluto TV Rewind, we head all the way back to Victory Road 2004 where Jeff Jarrett defended the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title against Jeff Hardy in a monumental ladder match main event!
IMPACT Wrestling was set to make their monthly pay-per-view debut in November 2004. Now fans from around the world could witness three hours of competition, three hours of drama and three hours of total nonstop action each and every month! What better way to kick off the tradition than with a ladder match with the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title on the line? Current reigning champ Jeff Jarrett found out who his opponent would be when a number one contender’s tournament played out on preceding episodes of IMPACT! Among the finalists were Jeff Hardy, Monty Brown, Abyss and Raven.
With Jeff Hardy pulling out the victory in the last stage of the tournament, Jeff Jarrett’s Victory Road 2004 opponent was set! However, this would be no ordinary match. In fact, the bout would be contested under Jeff Hardy’s signature match rules – a ladder match! With Jeff Jarrett’s NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title hanging high above the ring, who would emerge from IMPACT Wrestling’s first pay-per-view extravaganza with the gold intact?
In the early going, it was advantage Jeff Hardy! Having competed in a plethora of memorable ladder matches, Hardy knew the ins and outs of the stipulation. It looked as though Hardy was on the brink of victory when he hit Jarrett with a Swanton Bomb on top of a steel ladder. However, one of Jarrett’s allies, Scott Hall, emerged from the backstage area and took Hardy off a ladder with a sick Razor’s Edge! This left IMPACT Wrestling fans wondering – who else would make their presence felt?
Jeff Hardy continued to fight off both Jeff Jarrett and Scott Hall. After all, there are no disqualifications in a ladder match! As Hardy climbed the ladder in an attempt to retrieve the belt, Scott Hall cracked him in the back with a steel chair. This allowed Jeff Jarrett to make the trek up the ladder but this time, it was Kevin Nash who made an appearance! Many thought he was there to even the odds for Jeff Hardy but his intentions were made clear when he hit Jeff Hardy in the head with a guitar! With Hardy taken out once and for all, Jarrett climbed the ladder and retrieved the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title to win the match and retain his championship. Jeff Jarrett, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash were all on the same page with one goal in mind – total control of IMPACT Wrestling!
